Evil Geniuses have taken a huge leap forward in esports by signing a mixed gender pro squad to compete as their main Valorant squad.
Evil Geniuses CEO Nicole LaPoint Jameson made a simple statement saying it’s not about diversity, but “if you are the best of the best, you have a home here at Evil Geniuses”
Evil geniuses are no stranger to winning big events either. Their DOTA 2 team consistently reaches The International finals and has taken home over $10m in prize money over the last 7 years, while their Counter-Strike and League of Legends teams constantly compete at top tier competitions being highly competitive.
To us at esportsnews.gg we see this as a turning point in the history of esports and we’re so damn excited to see a major organisation like Evil Geniuses lead the pack in diversity.
Evil Geniuses really have put together an all-star squad with the team captain Christine “potter” Chin having 7 Female CSGO world championships under her belt as well as a wealth of experience in the role of being an analyst.
The full roster for Evil Geniuses is as follows:
- Nolan “Temparature” Pepper
- Aleksandar “aleksandar” Hinojosa
- Ronan “Osias” Javelona
- Claudia “Clawdia” Che
- Christine “potter” Chi
